DESCRIPTION:Saturday 7th 15:00 – 00:00 —- Sunday 8th 07:00 – 12:00 \nAn Tairseach: Samhain ar Uisneach returns to the Sacred Hill of Uisneach on November 7th & 8th\, inviting visitors to gather at the place where Ireland began. \nAn Tairseach meaning “Gathering”\, reflects the spirit of community\, connection and shared remembrance that lies at the heart of this ancient festival. \nTo overlook Uisneach on a journey through Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands is to overlook the very heart of our island’s story. \nSamhain is a time of remembrance\, community\, and connection—a moment when\, according to tradition\, the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. Join us for two days of live music\, exhibitions\, storytelling\, performers\, games\, and ancient traditions\, culminating in a spectacular torchlit procession and the lighting of the sacred Samhain Fire at the centre of Ireland. \nAs part of this year’s programme we have a very special headline musical act lined up for you all and we will also remember Manchán Magan\, whose work listened deeply to the language\, memory and spirit of these lands\, with a special screening of Listen to the Land Speak. \nCome celebrate the turning of the year\, when we embrace the darkness that awaits at Ireland’s most ancient and meaningful sites. \nThere will be limited tickets available for this event and they can be found at www.uisneach.ie
