Join us for a cosy and creative Beeswax Candle Making Workshop inspired by the ancient traditions of Samhain and the natural rhythms of the season.
During this hands-on workshop, guests will explore a variety of traditional candle-making techniques using beautiful natural beeswax. You’ll learn how to create hand-dipped taper candles, rolled beeswax candles, and small moulded candles to take home.
We’ll also explore more seasonal and “witchy” creations, crafting intention candles for protection, love, calm, abundance, and grounding using dried herbs and flowers grown here on the farm. Each candle is designed to feel personal, meaningful, and connected to nature.
Weather permitting, guests will also enjoy a gentle walk around the farm to visit the beehives and learn more about the bees, the wax, and the process behind this traditional craft.
Expect warm candlelight, autumn scents, natural textures, folklore, creativity, and a slow seasonal atmosphere perfect for embracing the spirit of Halloween in Ireland — the home of Samhain.
Workshop will take place on 10th and 17th of October, 3hrs, €50 per person.
Booking essential, at www.thefarmhouse.ie suitable for ages 10 to 99, every child must be accompanied by an adult, hot beeswax involved. Refreshments served.
