DESCRIPTION:A Dramatic Parade of Light\, Fire and Mythology \nAs darkness falls\, the streets of Longford Town will come alive with fire\, light\, music and movement as the Fire & Shadows Procession makes its way through the town centre. Inspired by the traditions of Samhain\, this spectacular outdoor event brings together local artists\, performers and community groups in a vibrant celebration of creativity and culture. Expect illuminated creations\, striking visual performances\, music and moments of surprise as the procession transforms familiar streets into a dramatic after-dark experience. Presented as part of the Home of Halloween programme\, the Fire & Shadows Procession has been developed with the support of local artists and performers\, Longford County Council Arts Office and Fáilte Ireland. The Fire & Shadows Procession will illuminate the streets with spectacular visual displays\, lanterns\, performers and music inspired by ancient Irish traditions. Combining community participation with artistic creativity\, the procession aims to create a memorable cultural experience celebrating storytelling\, heritage and imagination.
