Hosted by Fiona Egan in Cloughan, Abbeyshrule, participants will learn about traditional cider making, from selecting and pressing apples to the fermentation process and the craft behind producing quality cider. Along the way, you’ll hear about the orchard, seasonal harvesting and the connection between local food, farming and the landscape.
Whether you’re curious about traditional skills or simply looking for a unique seasonal experience, this workshop offers an enjoyable insight into one of Ireland’s oldest craft traditions.
